EarthBalance successfully completed the largest freshwater lake revegetation project in Florida’s history, per Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Executed by a 12-24 person field crew and 3-5 boats capable of navigating the lake’s shoreline and water habitats with minimal disturbance.

A total of 454,545, 4-inch Egyptian Paspalidium grown at our nursery in Desoto County, and 80,000 Bareroot Bulrush were installed across targeted zones. All of the plant material was in-house grown, using public and private wild-collected methods, ensuring genetic diversity and compliance with regulatory standards
The logistics of transporting and staging the plants, while coordinating simultaneous planting operations, required advanced planning, coordination, and adaptive management.
